Google Playa Vista

THE ASK/VISION

Google wanted a game room for their Playa Vista office that didn't feel generic. The brief: honor the history of the building (originally constructed by Howard Hughes to house the Spruce Goose) while creating a space where employees could genuinely decompress and have fun.

THE BUILD

We designed and fabricated custom furniture scaled to the building's original architecture, built oversized games from scratch, and commissioned a hand-painted mural loaded with hidden Easter eggs for employees and guests to discover over time. It's the kind of space people come back to and bring visitors to show off.
